Rebuilding the Temple in Jerusalem

Jerusalem’s temple is being rebuilt amid the sound of trumpets, rising altar smoke, and the labor of many hands. Craftsmen haul stone and timber while leaders study an architectural plan, directing the sacred work before a gathered crowd. At the left, priests lift trumpets beside the altar, joining worship to construction as the foundation of the house of the Lord is restored after exile.

The scene reflects the return from Babylon and the rebuilding recorded in Ezra, where the people set the altar in place, laid the temple foundation, and praised the Lord with cymbals and trumpets.
